It pulls data from the [Knowledge Graph](/glossary/knowledge-graph) and third-party sources like Wikipedia and Wikidata. Having a Knowledge Panel signals that Google recognises an entity as notable and well-documented, which is closely tied to [E-E-A-T](/glossary/e-e-a-t) signals. Brands and public figures can claim and suggest edits to their panels via Google Search Console.
