FAQPage structured-data type, marking up a list of question-and-answer pairs on a page. Until August 2023 this earned a rich result that expanded multiple Q&A pairs directly in the SERP — a major source of vertical real-estate and click visibility. Google then narrowed the rich result to "well-known authoritative" health and government sites only, removing it for the long tail. The markup itself is still valid and recognised, but the SERP benefit for most sites is now negligible. HowTo rich results were similarly narrowed to desktop only at the same time.
