Rich Text	Rich Text is a type of text that can be formatted in different ways like underlining, bold, italics and the use of various different fonts and sizes. Rich text can be further customised with the use of personalised spacing and headers. Word processors use their own way of creating rich text documents so you cannot open an AppleWorks document in Lotus Word Pro. However it is possible to save rich text documents in a generic format (Rich Text Format) and will open them without the formatting.
